Our Mission Statement

“At Playspaces we aim to provide a home from home environment filled with cosy nurturing spaces to support the children learn and grow. Providing lots of different challenges for age and stage where staff are always providing high quality learning through different areas of the setting reflecting children’s interests through everyday experiences. Playspaces thrives with family input to the running of our day care service to ensure we are providing care right for everyone”.

Our Settings Aims & Objectives

To provide warm nurturing spaces to allow all children to refer to nursery as a home from home.
Provide high quality learning for all different age and stage by providing appropriate provocations and learning opportunities.
To support children, express and understand their emotions through different learning experiences.
Children, staff and families to form strong trusting relationships.
Provide a setting that respects all individual cultural differences.
To ensure our setting protects children from neglect and abuse and has a child protection policy in place.
To provide different support for ensuring children’s routines feel supported and encouraged.
To ensure children’s next steps/milestones are noted and challenge is provided through learning experiences.
To explore our local environment and build strong community links.
Encourage independence at all age and stages and support this through daily routines.
Always to make improvements to the setting to ensure it is stimulating and supports children’s interests and development.
To provide for all different needs of children and follow appropriate care plans.
To have good partnerships with local authority and all other support systems to ensure we are providing the best care.
Have a good evaluation system and keep monitoring the use of the settings policies to make appropriate changes and to ensure they are being used.
Ensure staff are well mannered and show respect to all service users.
